Blob CRM vs Zoho CRM

Zoho CRM is cheap. Matching what Blob does takes five more Zoho apps.

Zoho pricing verified against zoho.com on 17 July 2026. Annual-billing rates throughout.

The short answer

Of the CRMs we compare ourselves against, Zoho is the one that genuinely competes on price — and at small team sizes it wins. Zoho CRM Standard is $14 per user per month. For five people that's $840 a year against Blob's $1,535. If a pipeline and contact management is all you need, Zoho is cheaper and we're not going to argue.

The catch is what Zoho CRM doesn't include. No bookings, no e-signatures, no campaigns, no live chat, no forms. Each is a separate Zoho product with its own interface, its own admin, and its own sync relationship to the CRM. Zoho's own bundled answer is CRM Plus at $57 per user per month — $3,420 a year for five people, against Blob's $1,535.

So the real question isn't price per seat. It's whether you'd rather run one application or six.

Five people, annual billing

Zoho CRM Standard × 5$840
Zoho CRM Professional × 5$1,380
Blob Medium Blob$1,535
Zoho CRM Enterprise × 5$2,400
Zoho One All-Employee × 5$2,220
Zoho CRM Plus Enterprise × 5 — the bundle that matches Blob$3,420
Zoho One Flexible User × 5$5,400
Zoho wins on the entry tiers. Blob wins from Enterprise upward. And against CRM Plus — Zoho's own bundle for teams who need what Blob includes as standard — Blob is 55% cheaper.

Zoho CRM Standard and Professional genuinely undercut us. We've put them at the top of the table rather than burying them, because you'd find out anyway and it's the sort of thing that makes you distrust everything else on a page like this.

The Zoho One trap

Zoho One is remarkable value on paper — more than 50 applications at $37 per user per month, which is cheaper than Zoho CRM Enterprise alone at $40. That is not an accident; Zoho is buying suite lock-in and says so.

The catch is contractual. That $37 rate is All-Employee pricing, and Zoho's licensing agreement requires a licence for every employee on your payroll — not just the people who use the CRM. From their own FAQ:

"Your business will have to commit to purchase Zoho One licenses for ALL employees on payroll." And: "If we see that not all of your employees are licensed, then we will notify you to either purchase remaining licenses or switch to Flexible User Pricing. As per our licensing agreement we reserve the right to take further action, including termination of service."

Licensing only some staff means Flexible User pricing at $90 per user — a 143% premium. That ratio is the commercial lever: Zoho prices the option of licensing only part of your business at nearly two and a half times the rate.

If you have twelve staff and four of them need a CRM, that arithmetic matters.

Where Zoho is the better choice

Price, at the entry tiers

Zoho CRM Standard at $14 and Professional at $23 per user undercut Blob for small teams. If pipeline management is all you need, take it.

Breadth, by a distance

Zoho One spans accounting, HR, project management, help desk, inventory and more. If you want one vendor for the whole business rather than the whole sales function, Blob isn't competing for that job.

Customisation depth

A more mature customisation layer, a scripting environment, and territory management. Blob has custom fields, custom roles and a REST API.

Track record and scale

Zoho has been around since 1996 and serves a very large customer base. Blob is newer.

Common questions

Is Blob cheaper than Zoho CRM?

Not always, and we'd rather say so. Zoho CRM Standard at $14 per user per month is cheaper than Blob for a small team — $840 a year for five people against Blob's $1,535. Zoho CRM Professional at $23 is also slightly cheaper. Blob wins from Zoho CRM Enterprise upward, and wins decisively against CRM Plus, which is the bundle you actually need to match Blob's feature set: $3,420 a year for five people against Blob's $1,535.

What do I need to buy from Zoho to match Blob?

Zoho CRM alone doesn't include bookings, e-signatures, campaigns, live chat or forms. Those are Zoho Bookings, Zoho Sign, Zoho Campaigns, Zoho SalesIQ and Zoho Forms — separate products with separate interfaces. Zoho's own bundled answer is CRM Plus at $57 per user per month on annual billing. For five users that's $3,420 a year against Blob's $1,535.

What is the Zoho One all-employee requirement?

Zoho One's headline $37 per user rate is 'All Employee' pricing, and Zoho's licensing agreement requires you to buy a licence for every employee on your payroll — not just CRM users. Their FAQ states that if not all employees are licensed they reserve the right to take further action including termination of service. Licensing only some staff means Flexible User pricing at $90 per user, a 143% premium.

What does Zoho do better than Blob?

Breadth, overwhelmingly. Zoho One spans more than 50 applications covering accounting, HR, project management, help desk and much more. Zoho CRM itself has a more mature customisation layer, a scripting environment, and territory management. If you want one vendor for the whole business, Zoho is a serious answer and Blob is not competing for that job.

Can I import my Zoho data into Blob?

Yes, via CSV. Blob's eight-tab import wizard covers contacts, organisations, deals, activities, notes, lead sources, custom fields and templates. A native Zoho API importer is on the roadmap.
